Sitting at an airport currently. Super grateful to possess the gift and ability to travel, but also randomly wondering why #airportlooks and the mere act of traveling have always been in fashion. Here’s what I’ve come up with:
#1
We spend hours on end packing the right clothes, making sure we have covered our bases with not just all the basics, but searching the deepest ends of our closets to unearth clothes that fit the new environment and culture we are about to immerse ourselves into.

Duh. Both fashion and travel make you fall in love. The same way you walk into a store and your eyes land upon the most breathtaking pieces, finding yourself in a new place, too, is filled with such moments.

Traveling opens you up to creative thought. And fashion is nothing if not the ability to creatively express yourself and your experiences. Often times, people’s travels shape their sense of style, and indeed the most iconic names in the fashion industry are self-proclaimed travel-lovers.

Honestly, I’m sure if I sat here for a few more minutes I could come up with a longer, more extensive, (maybe slightly exaggerated) list of reasons the two are akin. But, I’ve got to go… flight’s about to board 😉
