Tinted Moisturizer with SPF
This Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is my personal favorite; I use it religiously on a daily basis, but will be particularly careful to use a little bit more on days where I know I’ll be in the sun for long. It goes on so easy, and gives your skin so much room to breathe and feels divine throughout the whole day. But, since it is only SPF 20, you could either opt for another tinted moisturizer with a higher SPF or alternatively apply sunscreen before applying this moisturizer.
You’ll see just about everyone sporting a pair of leisure slides, but not everyone will have a cute pair like this one. The shoes pictured above are Salvatore Ferragamo slides that I purchased about a year ago and continue to want to wear all the time. It’s definitely wise to invest in a pair like this that can be worn to the beach (just make sure to safeguard them and try to keep them away from the water), but can also be worn day-to-day with your summer outfits!
Colored Lens Shades
Summer is the time to experiment with your colors. Put aside those black or dark brown shades of yours and pick up a fun colored pair; perhaps one that matches your swimwear! Pictured above is a vintage pair of Chanel sunglasses–and if you look closely, you’ll see a tiny pearl drop just under the right lens!
I just recently invested in this gorgeous Zimmerman one-piece and I love how the cut is super modern, yet the print is slightly vintage inspired. I’m so pumped to wear it once I hit the beach next. Wouldn’t you be? P.S. I spoke about this and the above Chanel sunnies in depth in my last YouTube video on Old World Style! Check it out here <3
Another recent addition to my collection, this necklace is one that you’ll see on me throughout the season. It’s from the brand Nascul, one that I found on Instagram. Honestly, when you’re putting together your beach look, the accessories really differentiate you, so it is imperative to ensure that those are on point!
All in all, I hope these helped inspire you to look super unique and chic for your next visit to the beach! Let me know if you want any more info about any of these items in particular–I’d be happy to dedicate a separate post to it!
