Here it is, guys! Finally, the first of many blog posts for my different outfits during each day of fashion week. These aren’t exactly #streetstyle shots, but nonetheless, I hope you enjoy!
Day 1 // Outfit 1: Fall Neutrals
Now here’s proof that your entire fashion week ensemble doesn’t have to be full-on designer to be trendy. I decided to try something super different by wearing a sweater on top of a skirt, and accentuate my figure by adding a belt to the look. I do believe that a woman’s accessories often add the finishing touches on her look, so I made sure I used some of the best accessories I owned. The belt was from Louis Vuitton, while my clutch was from Prada. Since the whole tone of this look was “Fall Neutrals,” I decided to go with minimal nude heels from Steve Madden to wear with the scarlet skirt from Uniqlo and multicolored fall sweater from Zara.
To catch on to that circular Louis Vuitton logo situation going on with the belt, I wore rather rounded sunglasses with yellow-colored lenses, and completed the look with rose-gold hoop earrings to match the shades in my fall-inspired sweater. Lastly, since NYFW is the time to go big or go home, I decided to get a little extra fancy by wearing a triple-layered minimal gold chain necklace as well.
