Beverly Hills–the best city in the whole of California to inhabit when you truly want to feel like a royal dame. Look to your right–there’s a Rolls Royce, and to your left; there’s either a Ferrari or chrome-d out Bentley. The city is at it’s best, however, during Christmas time. Luxury combined with the homely and familiar vibes of Christmas decor produces the most magical feeling. During our stay at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, which by far had the most beautiful Christmas decor I had seen in the whole of the city, my family had planned a few nice evening dinner’s out, and for our last evening, I decided to dress to impress in a gorgeous, uniquely-shaped black and white dress by Weili Zheng, found on YOOX.
There’s something truly special about wearing black and white on a Beverly Hills night. I wanted the dress to be the highlight of the look, so I opted for my versatile black Roger Vivier heels and slicked back hair. Lastly, when it comes to black and white looks, there’s nothing more classic than adding a red lip–and a red bag, too, to match. I wore my velvet red lip shade from the Clarins Joli Rouge collection, and my red Stella McCartney bag.
Sometimes it’s just nice to be in beautiful places. To just be amidst beauty is pleasurable, memorable, and sometimes a deeply cherished moment. And–if you’re able to contribute to the beauty you inhabit via what you wear, there’s absolutely nothing like it.
