I knew this was coming. This was one of the very few outfits I had actually planned for New York Fashion Week, but I had a bit of a strange feeling about: either I would be seen as a daring fashionista, or else a complete fashion disaster. You can go ahead and call the fashion police if you’d like, but to my relief, I think I pulled it off just fine.

It’s not everyday you see someone wearing their hair in Princess Lea buns, sporting straight leg-jeans and a turtleneck underneath a maxi dress, only to top it off with a multicolored zig-zag patterned Missoni poncho. What a mouthful. Nonetheless, I’m proud that I took a risk, and while I’m not sure how everyone might have felt about it, I got a sense that some people appreciated my boldness. If you read my New York Fashion Week 2019: Day 1 blog post, then this is a bit of a repeat, but I strongly believe that it’s best to not always try to follow the crowd. Here’s an exact breakdown of what I wore in this look, as I headed to my last show of the season, Rebecca Minkoff:
George J. Love Jeans (via YOOX)
Reebok Alter the Icons Sneakers
Kim Shadey Sunglasses
Vintage Emilio Pucci Bag

In my defense, it was my very last shot at ending New York Fashion Week with a bang, and I couldn’t wimp out on this outfit last minute–especially because my friend, whom I brought with me to fashion week, was encouraging me to wear it. You can’t let a friend down, right? Right.
Check out some other fun things we did to end our journey in New York in my Day 3 vlog 🙂

I’m extremely inspired together with your writing
talents as neatly as with the format on your blog. Is this a paid topic or did you modify it yourself?
Either way stay up the nice high quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
I’m gone to inform my little brother, that he should also visit this website on regular
basis to take updated from most recent news update.
