Quarantine by no means requires one to stop partaking in the activities that make them feel their best. As long as you’re doing things from home and are being safe and clean, go for it!
Personally (and I know for many other women out there) doing makeup in the mornings is some of the best “me time;” like a daily mini-gift. On days when I have done my makeup, I instantly feel a little extra spring in my step.
That being said, this isn’t quite the time for going super glam and caking on makeup since, evidently, I am not going anywhere. Thus, I thought I’d share this simple work from home makeup look; it’s perfect for those might find themselves in the same predicament as me!
Introducing….
An Audrey Hepburn inspired simple, yet sophisticated makeup look!

I used:

Lancome Teint Idole in 350 Bis C for foundation – this is quite a full coverage foundation, so you don’t have to use a tinted moisturizer before or anything like that. Also, you just have to apply a few drops. I used the Pixi by Petra Foundation Brush to rub this in.
Glossier Haloscope in Quartz for highlighter – this glides on like magic and you don’t have to use a brush or anything like that–it works best when you use your (clean) hands to rub in; the warmth of your hands really helps.
Lancome Le Monochromatique French Affair for blush – I love this one because it can be used as blush, eye-shadow, and a lip color!
Lancome Le Monochromatique A La Mode for underneath lip gloss – This one works well for contour too!
Morphe Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Sway – I wanted to make my lip a little more glossy and pink after making it a neutral brown with the A La Mode.
Clarins Crayon Kohl for eyeliner – This eyeliner is bold, beautiful, and the darkest a black eyeliner can get.
Sorme Brow Style Kit for brows – The brown powdery shade and the angled brush that comes in the kit are perfect for subtly filling in dark brown to black eyebrows.
Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin + Gunmetal–the first + last shades) for eye-shadow – start with the shade virgin, and then apply gunmetal on the outer part of the eyelid to achieve a smokey eye effect!
