As someone with sensitive, combination skin, finding the right makeup products has taken some time. It’s always a process of trial and error, and at this point in quarantine, experimenting with new products has become an everyday endeavor–to be totally transparent, a lot of products don’t fit the bill. As far as those that do, I’m always extremely eager to share–and all my Instagram friends know this for a fact.
Now, I know that beauty and radiance begins with having a clean diet, so that’s where I start. Still, the exact way we strive to make healthy choices when it comes to food, we often overlook doing so in the beauty products we use. I’m always extremely intrigued by items that have closer to nature ingredients, as they typically make for a healthier choice for the skin.
While I am usually using a plethora of different products from different brands, I decided to switch things up entirely and do a full face using primarily one, EWG Verified, non-toxic brand. Recently, I put together a look using good for you makeup, particularly by the brand Rejuva Minerals. The best part? It took me under 15 minutes.

I’m happy to report that not only did Rejuva Minerals’ makeup custom kit products feel great on my face, but the color palette was simply stunning. I’d like to take a little credit and say I chose the perfect shades for my skin tone. It’s sometimes tough to choose the right shades online, right? I breathed a mini sigh of relief after finishing the look to find that they suited me well.
Alright–now, enough talking; let’s get to more pictures!

Made evident by the above image, after the beauty beat-down, my face was fully nourished and moisturized. It was quite a shift from my usual makeup–I typically use a very matte liquid foundation, or else matte out my makeup look with a ton of matte setting powder. This time, I drew a liking to the glow that Rejuva Minerals’ foundation produced, so I only very lightly finished off the look with the powder compact in the kit. Though, I would say if you are spending the day outdoors and are prone to sweating, finishing off the look with a more heavy matte powder might be a better option. For a day indoors, however, nothing of the sort was required.
All the glow aside–can we take a moment to appreciate these standout products, though?

The multi-purpose pressed powders had to be my favorites from the whole kit. I used both on the eyes to achieve a smokey look, mixed together both for blush, and used the darker shade for a quick contour. Keep reading for the shade names below!

To make it easy for you all, here is quick list of the products in my Rejuva Minerals Custom Kit that I used in this look:
Flawless Finish Blender Sponge
Flat Top Buki Brush
Age Defying Liquid Foundation – Sand Beach
Pur Lips Lipstick – Berry Bliss
Mega Lash Mascara
Multi Purpose Pressed Powder – Tropical Sunset
Multi Purpose Pressed Powder Brazilian Brown
Multi Purpose Natural Look Pressed Powder – Glow

All in all, I was impressed. My daily makeup routine usually sees me using over 19 to 20 products, but for this one, the only products I used outside of those given were a lip-liner, eyeliner, and a little bit of highlighter. When beauty is convenient, good for you, and effective, there’s really not much more a girl could ask for. I’m starring these pictures for the next time I have to glam up in a rush!
