Spring 2021 fashion has been all about playing. Playing with color, patterns, fabrics, and more!
🌸 Now that Spring is around the corner, I thought it was a perfect time to share some of my favorite printed pieces. From florals to stripes, to just all-around color, here are how some of my favorite pieces look on the models versus me! 🌸

1. Uniqlo x JW Anderson Oversize Turtleneck Sweater

On me, this sweater was more than oversized. I genuinely cannot wear the sweater unless I tuck it into high waisted pants, but I really like the look when I do so. On the model, it doesn’t look as oversized, but that might be because the model is wearing one layer underneath. Quick note, they say that horizontal stripes make you look wider, but with this sweater, I simply don’t believe that is the case.

2. Ba&Sh Hippy Floral Print Top

The model gave this a very BoHo vibe, but I like high necks, so I did not want to leave buttons open when I wore this top. Also, it seems that it is a little bit loose on me, so again, I tucked it into my jeans. A little embellishment with my Indian earrings felt right with this look ✨

3. Samsoe & Samsoe Margo Print Dress

I was really nervous purchasing this dress. I had no clue how this insane pattern would look on me, but it actually ended up looking insanely cool. I added some lighter colors to the outfit with a top that I made a mint green crop jacket/cardigan, and white shoes. Then, to complement the purple in the dress, I wore a purple lipstick and a purple handbag. The dress fit as expected so no complaints there!

4. Nanushka Madi Print Top

I love this top simply because the colors are neutral, therefore the print is something that can be worn in any season. For Spring, you can pair it with colored pants as I did, but perhaps a lighter color. In fact, the model’s white pants are a great option for Spring. Since this top is mesh, the fit tends to hug your body, which was nice. I didn’t have to worry about it being loose.
All right friends, that’s it for now on prints and patterns. I love chatting spring fashion and still remember the time I did a full round-up of Spring staples two years ago! What’s your favorite print or pattern when it comes to Spring 2021 fashion? 🎨🌸 More posts to come on specific trends soon!
