Fresh off of doing research from NYFW’s latest shows, I have come to the conclusion that sage green is an extremely trendy shade. In fact, the most trending search a few days ago on Pinterest was sage green nails!

While we won’t be talking nails, we will be talking about how to style a mint green top. This Tibi long-sleeve wool top is one I’ve worn several times, and is from the brand Tibi. Let’s break down each outfit!

1. Pastels Mixed to Perfection

I love the idea of mixing pastels. I wore my vintage Chanel clip ons in pastel pink, Frame Denim multi-paneled jeans which have touches of pastel blue, and a pastel yellow tank from Uniqlo as I used the Tibi shirt as a cardigan.
2. Subdue the Groove

When an outfit is a little too whacky with prints, it’s always a good idea to add a solid color to balance it out. I wore my Samsoe & Samsoe dress with a purple Louis Vuitton Epi Montaigne leather bag and white Yves Saint Laurent kitten heels. I then tied the Tibi top just under my chest and tucked the two strands back in so it could act as a mini-cardi.
Quick note, I recently did a deep dive into this groovy dress in my last post!
3. Inspired by the Sea

Bodies of water inspire me in so many ways. I love doing a sea green and blue eye, but I figured we’d take it to the next level and do it with clothes! I wore St. John Sport linen shorts in a similar green to the Tibi top. Because the neck was low, I added a lace bralette in teal by Free People, and a fun scarf with light turquoise and teal in the hair. I couldn’t find this exact scarf online, so pictured above is one similar.
I’m actually curious, are you a fan of sage green? Which of these was your favorite look?
